ImageQuarry and Recraft: the differences that matter

Vector and print ready output

Recraft generates editable vector graphics, converts PNG or JPG to vector paths, and lists custom DPI and CMYK for Pro use cases. ImageQuarry does not list vector output.

Same canvas or a new version

Recraft's natural language editor renders the edit on the same canvas, with eraser, recolor, outpaint and upscale tools around it. ImageQuarry keeps each change as a separate version, so earlier states stay one click away.

Reusable styles or references per request

Recraft turns a set of your images into a reusable, editable style, shared across a team on the Teams plan. ImageQuarry takes one or more reference images per request; they guide the result, and you review each version to see how closely it follows them.

Where you can use it

Recraft has iOS and Android apps, an API, and integrations for Figma, Framer, Chrome, Google Docs and Google Slides. ImageQuarry is used in the ImageQuarry app.

Branching an idea

Recraft's app shows Projects, History and Favorites. ImageQuarry lets you branch from any earlier version to try another direction while keeping the first path.

About each product

ImageQuarry

ImageQuarry is a conversational AI image workspace. You describe an image or upload one, then ask for specific changes in words, such as new lighting, a different background or an added object. Each change makes a new version and earlier versions are kept, so you can make variations, branch from any version, add reference images and organize the work in projects and a library. You can choose between four image models: Nano Banana 2.1 (the default), Nano Banana Pro, GPT Image 2.5 Flare and GPT Image 2.5 Sunburst. Plans: Starter at $9 per month with 100 image credits a month, and Pro at $29 per month with 300 image credits a month, with optional metered overage that is off unless you turn it on. Every plan is paid. ImageQuarry has not published output specifications or rights terms yet, and it is not a headshot or background removal tool.

Recraft

Recraft Studio is a platform for generating and editing images, vectors and mockups with Recraft's own models and other frontier models. It offers a natural language image editor, background removal and replacement, upscaling up to 4K, outpainting, reusable custom styles and conversion between JPG, PNG, WebP, PDF and TIFF. It runs on the web, iOS and Android, with an API and integrations for Figma, Framer and Google apps. The free plan keeps images public and owned by Recraft; paid plans start at Basic, $12 a month billed monthly, and grant ownership and commercial rights.
