Question
Why do different AI models give different results from the same prompt?
Because each model was trained differently, with different data and goals, so each turns the same words into a different picture. Even one model usually gives different results for the same prompt from run to run, which is why comparing outputs matters more than any single attempt.
A prompt is not a full specification. Words like "cinematic" or "warm light" leave most decisions open, and each model fills those gaps with its own defaults for composition, color, lighting and detail. Google's documentation advises describing a scene "in rich detail", because "the more specific you are, the more control you have over the results".
OpenAI's guide suggests repeating requests to measure consistency. In ImageQuarry you can choose a different model when you want a different result for the same request, and each result lands as a version you can compare.
