Question
Which AI image models handle text in images best?
No AI image model gets text right every time, so read every word at full size before you use an image, whichever model made it. Short text in quotes works better than long passages or small print.
Image models draw letters as shapes rather than spelling words, so short headlines, a few large words and plain lettering come out more reliably than paragraphs. OpenAI lists precise text placement and clarity as a known limitation of its current image models.
Practical advice for any model: keep text short, put the exact words in quotes in your prompt, and read every letter at full size. For body copy, adding the text in a design tool after generation avoids the problem.
In ImageQuarry, if the text in one result is wrong, ask for the exact correction in quotes, or choose a different model when you want a different result for the same request.
