Question
How do I leave room for a headline in an AI image?
Say where the empty space goes and roughly how much: "subject in the lower left, empty sky across the top third for a headline". Naming a side and a size works better than "leave some space". Keep that area simple, such as sky, wall or soft background.
Plan the space for its use. A headline needs a calm area with enough contrast for the words; a full-screen Story also needs the top and bottom edges clear, where app buttons sit.
If the first result fills the space, ask for it in a separate change: "move the subject to the right and leave the left half empty". Simple backgrounds are easier to keep empty than busy scenes.
Add the actual words in a design tool if they must be exact, or check them letter by letter if the image generates them.
In ImageQuarry, a request can say what to change and what to keep, for example "move the subject to the right and leave the left half empty. Keep the face, hands, crop, and background.", and each request makes a new version you can compare with the last.
