Dezgo alternatives for an ad-free start, saved history and phone apps

Dezgo is a web generator for images and video from text, usable without registering, with models from Flux and SDXL to Nano Banana and Qwen Image and an editor that takes text instructions. People look elsewhere because the free version carries ads, rate limits and capped resolution and quality, history exists only in paid Power Mode and only for 30 days, and no native app was found. DeepAI suits people who want a no-account start with phone apps, Gemini and Bing Image Creator people who want no-cost edits on a phone, and getimg.ai people who want a lasting library. ImageQuarry suits people who want each edit kept in a project.

We make ImageQuarry, one of the alternatives below. Dezgo and each alternative were compared on how you start, saved history, platforms, editing in words, how you pay and price, using each vendor's public pages, checked October 20, 2026.

What is Dezgo?

Dezgo's FAQ calls it "an online image/video generator powered by AI" that turns text descriptions into images and videos. Its menu offers Muse Image, Nano Banana 2 and Pro, Qwen Image 3, Grok Imagine and Flux 2, plus no-cost Flux 1, XL Lightning and SD1 models, and video models such as WAN 3.0 and Veo 3.1. Tools marked FREE include ControlNet text-to-image, background removal, upscaling, inpainting from text and "Edit image from text", powered by Instruct-Pix2Pix. Power Mode is an optional prepaid upgrade.

Dezgo has no monthly plan to set beside subscription tools: its paid option, Power Mode, is a prepaid balance charged per request.

Dezgo pricing

Power Mode has no recurring fees, and per-request prices vary by model and parameters and are shown live in the app. All payments are final and non-refundable. API pricing is identical to Power Mode. Prices as of October 2026, from dezgo.com. Check the vendor for current pricing.

What Dezgo does well

Start without an account

Dezgo says there is a free version you can use without registering, so a first image needs no sign-up.

Pay per request, with no expiry

Power Mode works on a prepaid pay-as-you-go basis with no recurring fees, default Text-to-Image costs $0.0019 a request, and the balance never expires.

Current models next to older open ones

Nano Banana 2 offers resolutions from 0.5K to 4K and Qwen Image 3 outputs 1K or 2K, alongside free Flux 1, XL Lightning and SD1 models.

Edits from a short instruction

Edit image from text takes instructions such as "swap X by Y" or "add X", and the homepage says Muse Image offers precise edits.

Fine prompt control and a matching API

Prompts accept + and - weighting or numeric weights between 0 and 2, a negative prompt, a guidance setting and LoRAs, and the API at dev.dezgo.com gives the same features as the web interface.

Where Dezgo falls short

The free version is capped and shows ads

Dezgo lists rate limits, image resolution and quality limits (capped sampling steps) and ads on the free version, and some compute-intensive video models are not available there.

History only in Power Mode, for 30 days

Power Mode's History stores recent requests for up to 30 days; no history feature is described for the free version.

Browser and API only

Dezgo runs in desktop and mobile browsers and through its API, and no native app was found on its pages as of October 2026.

Deposits are final

Power Mode starts at a $10 deposit, and Dezgo says all payments are final and non-refundable.

Usage depends on each model's licence

You may use outputs commercially on the free version and Power Mode alike, but only within each AI's license terms, such as CreativeML Open RAIL-M for Stable Diffusion.

Why people look for a Dezgo alternative

  • You want to create without ads and rate limits but not put down a prepaid deposit, and Dezgo's free version has both.
  • You want past images kept, and Dezgo's History is a Power Mode feature that holds requests for 30 days.
  • You want a native phone app, and Dezgo runs only in the browser and through its API.
  • You would rather have a monthly plan than a non-refundable prepaid balance with a $10 minimum.

The 5 Dezgo alternatives

Ordered by how many of the reasons above each one answers, in order: a start without ads or a deposit, saved history, then phone apps. The two paid tools come last; ImageQuarry sits ahead of getimg.ai because it keeps each edit as a version as well as in a library.

1. DeepAI

Best for: People who want a no-account start, phone apps and edits by description with undo

How it differs from Dezgo: DeepAI also lets you begin without creating an account, and its AI Photo Editor takes 1 to 3 uploaded images plus a described edit, with Undo and Redo. It runs on the web, Google Play, the App Store and in iMessage, and DeepAI Pro removes ads and adds API access.

Price: Free plan; DeepAI Pro $9.99 a month billed monthly (as of 2026-10)

Limitation: DeepAI says generated images are public domain with no owner, and its API needs an active Pro subscription.

2. Gemini

Best for: Phone users who want to ask for edits in conversation and keep images in a library

How it differs from Dezgo: Gemini edits through conversation: you ask it to change the background, replace an object or add an element, and you can reopen a generated image from Library and keep chatting to change it. It runs on the web, Android and iPhone, and its no-cost plan includes image generation and editing.

Price: No-cost plan; Google AI Pro $19.99 a month (as of 2026-10)

Limitation: Images carry a visible watermark plus SynthID, downloads are 1K without a Google AI plan, and you must be 18 or over.

3. Bing Image Creator

Best for: People who want no-cost generation with Microsoft models, uploads to edit and saved collections

How it differs from Dezgo: Bing Image Creator is free with a Microsoft account and gives 15 fast creations a day, then slower standard creations. You can upload an image and use the Edit image button to ask for a change, choose between MAI-Image-2.5-Flash and MAI-Image-2e, and keep results in Collections. It also runs inside the Bing mobile app.

Price: No paid plan; Microsoft Rewards points buy extra fast creations (as of 2026-10)

Limitation: Generated images are stored for up to 90 days, no API was found, and work or school accounts cannot use it.

4. ImageQuarry

Best for: People who want every edit and prompt kept together in projects they can return to

How it differs from Dezgo: Dezgo's History keeps recent Power Mode requests for up to 30 days. ImageQuarry is organized around keeping work: projects and a library hold your images with the prompts, references and versions behind them, so you can come back later, pick an older version and continue from it.

Price: Starter for $9 a month; Pro for $29 a month (as of 2026-10)

Limitation: Every plan is a monthly subscription, it makes images and not video, and ImageQuarry has not published output specifications.

5. getimg.ai

Best for: Small teams that want a permanent library, shared folders and a separate API

How it differs from Dezgo: getimg.ai lists unlimited content storage history on every plan, so results land in a library instead of lapsing after 30 days, and Team spaces share generations in folders. Its AI Image Editor takes a typed change such as "add sunglasses", and its API is sold apart from the plans.

Price: Entry plan, $15 a month on monthly billing (as of 2026-10)

Limitation: No free plan appears on its pricing page, and monthly plan credits do not roll over.

Who should stay with Dezgo

  • You want to generate without an account, and the no-cost models cover what you need.
  • You prefer paying per request from a balance that never expires to a monthly subscription.
  • You call the same features from code through the Dezgo API at Power Mode prices.
  • You steer images with prompt weighting, negative prompts and LoRAs.

How to try an alternative alongside Dezgo

  1. If you use Power Mode, re-download what you want from History soon, since it keeps requests for up to 30 days.
  2. On the free version no history is described, so save each image you want as soon as it appears.
  3. Leave your Power Mode balance where it is, since Dezgo says it never expires, and keep using it for the jobs Dezgo handles well.
  4. Rewrite prompts that use + and - weighting or numeric weights as plain sentences before trying them in a tool without that syntax.
  5. Try one of your Edit image from text instructions, such as "add X", in the alternative on the same picture.

Does not carry over: Your Power Mode balance and Dezgo History stay with Dezgo, and payments there are final and non-refundable.
