Higgsfield vs Krea: a video first suite or an image and canvas suite

Higgsfield and Krea both bundle many outside models into one creative app, but they lean different ways. Higgsfield organizes its product around video and production tools such as Cinema Studio, Ads Studio and AI Influencer, with image models including Nano Banana Pro, GPT Image and its own Soul. Krea centers on images, with its own Krea models, a real-time canvas, a node editor and upscalers up to 22K, plus video models. Pick Higgsfield for clips and recurring characters; pick Krea for image work with a free daily allowance.

We make ImageQuarry, which is not one of these two products. We compared Higgsfield and Krea using their own public pages, checked October 20, 2026.

Higgsfield and Krea: the differences that matter

Brushing an area or typing the change

Higgsfield's image page describes brushing over an area with Nano Banana Pro Inpaint to swap objects, fix backgrounds, rewrite text or adjust colors, and Soul ID to keep a character consistent. Krea offers edit by typing and an Agent that refines images with you.

Video and production tools

Higgsfield's navigation leads with production tools: Cinema Studio, Ads Studio, AI Influencer and an agent it calls Supercomputer. Krea also runs video models from several labs, while its own tools center on the canvas, the node editor and upscaling.

Trying it without paying

Higgsfield says you can generate on a small set of models without credits, that every free generation carries a watermark and that there is no trial period. Krea's Free plan gives 100 units a day across its image and video models.

Resolution and upscaling

Higgsfield's image page says native 2K with refinement to 4K in one section and up to 4K natively in its FAQ. Krea upscales to 2K on Free and up to 22K with paid upscalers such as Topaz Standard.

Ownership and model training

Higgsfield says you own your outputs, that its Terms do not tie commercial use to a plan, and that it may use content to train its models. Krea gives paid plans a commercial license and adds no-training clauses in its Business terms.

About each product

Higgsfield

Higgsfield calls itself an AI-native creative suite. Its navigation covers image, video and audio generation, a canvas, an editor, Cinema Studio, Ads Studio and an AI Influencer tool, and its image page names models such as Nano Banana Pro, GPT Image, Seedream, FLUX and its own Soul. Higgsfield's blog lists Starter at $15, Plus at $49 and Ultra at $129 a month, as of October 2026. Free generation is limited to a few models and carries a watermark.

Krea

Krea combines its in-house Krea 3 model with outside image models and with video, 3D and lip sync models in one web app. Its tools include a real-time canvas, moodboards, a node editor, an App Builder and an Enhancer upscaler. A Free plan gives 100 units a day, and paid plans start at $9 a month for Basic, as of October 2026, with Business adding up to 50 seats.

Where ImageQuarry fits

If what you mainly need is still images refined over several rounds, ImageQuarry keeps that loop in one place: ask for a change in words, get a new version, and branch from any earlier one. Its projects and library hold the prompts and references with each version, and the plans are Starter and Pro.
