Question

Why does AI change the shape or label of my product?

Because the model redraws your product instead of copying it, and fine details such as label text, logos and proportions are where redraws drift most. Start from a real photo of the product, ask for only the scene to change, and check the label against the original before you use the image.

When a model generates or edits a product, it rebuilds every pixel from what it has learned. Shapes it has seen often come out well; your exact bottle curve, cap or typeface may be nudged toward something more typical.

Text is the weakest part. OpenAI lists text clarity and the consistency of brand elements as limitations of its image model, which is exactly what a label is.

What reduces it: an uploaded product photo as the starting image, an instruction that names what must stay ("keep the bottle, cap and label"), and changes limited to background, surface and light. Always compare the result with the source photo at full size.

In ImageQuarry you can start from your product photo, describe the new scene, and compare each version with the original before you download it.
