Question

Can I start in ImageQuarry from an image I already have?

Yes. You can upload an existing image and describe the change you want in plain words, such as a new background, warmer light or an added object. ImageQuarry makes the change as a new version, so your original stays with the project for comparison.

Starting from an upload suits work where the subject must be real: your product, your room, your portrait. You describe what should change and, ideally, what should stay ("keep the bottle and its label as they are").

From the first edit on, the workflow is the same as for a generated image: ask for further changes, add reference images for texture, color or light, make variations, and branch from any earlier version.

Before you use the result, compare it with your original at full size, especially faces, product shapes and any text, which are the details most likely to shift in an AI edit.

Versions live in the project with the source image, the references and the conversation that produced them.
