SeaArt alternatives for private images and plain monthly prices
SeaArt AI is an all-in-one creation platform and community at seaart.ai, with image models such as GPT Image 2.5, Nano Banana 2.1 and Seedream, video models, AI Apps, and edits made by describing the part you want changed. People look elsewhere mainly because work stays visible to others unless a plan's Private Generation is turned on, and because paid tiers appear as billed annually with no dollar figures in the page text. Mage suits people who want work private by default, Leonardo.Ai and OpenArt suit buyers who want published monthly prices, and Civitai or Tensor.Art suit model and LoRA hunters. ImageQuarry fits one image refined over many described changes, with every version kept.
We make ImageQuarry, one of the alternatives below. SeaArt and each alternative were compared on image visibility, how prices are shown, daily or monthly allowances, editing in words, models and platforms, using each vendor's public pages, checked October 20, 2026.

What is SeaArt?
SeaArt's homepage title is "All-in-One AI Creation Platform & Community", and the site covers image creation, video creation and AI Apps next to a community feed. It names image models including GPT Image 2.5, Nano Banana 2.1, Seedream 5.0 Pro, Flux AI and Qwen Image, and video models such as Seedance 2.5, Veo, Sora and Kling AI. Its image to image tool takes up to 6 reference images and edits from a plain description, alongside an upscaler, a Background Remover, an AI Eraser and face swap.
SeaArt pairs its generators with a community, so it is a place to share and browse other people's work as much as a place to refine your own.
SeaArt pricing
SeaArt's pricing page renders plan prices in the browser, so the dollar amounts were not in the page text read on October 20, 2026, and no monthly billing toggle was visible. The same page quotes usage costs: a standard image is 6 credits, about $0.006, and a standard video 30 credits, about $0.03. Prices as of October 2026, from seaart.ai. Check the vendor for current pricing.

What SeaArt does well
A long list of named image and video models
SeaArt names GPT Image 2.5 and 2, Nano Banana 2.1, Seedream 5.0 Pro, Flux AI and Qwen Image for stills, and Seedance 2.5, MiniMax H3, Wan 3.0, Veo, Sora, Kling AI, Pixverse and Vidu for video.
Edits from a plain description, with references
Its edit app tells you to "Describe your edit in plain words, click generate", and image to image accepts up to 6 reference images for editing or merging, plus inpainting to remove or add elements. Downloads are offered "without watermarks".
Phone apps on both stores
The homepage links an iOS app on the App Store and an Android app on Google Play, as well as the web app.
Broad commercial wording
SeaArt says results "can be used commercially for marketing, advertising, social media, and business purposes", and its pricing FAQ says it does not prohibit commercial use of works.
A daily allowance at no cost
Free users receive 130 Stamina a day and can run 2 tasks at the same time, which resets each day.
Where SeaArt falls short
Work is visible unless you switch privacy on
Private Generation is listed as a plan privilege: "When enabled, your work is only visible to yourself". By implication, work is not private by default.
Paid prices did not appear in the page text
The pricing page shows paid tiers as "/Month, Billed Annually", but the price figures are filled in by the browser and were not readable on October 20, 2026.
Usage is budgeted per day
Each plan is a daily Stamina allowance, from 130 on Free to 2,100 on Professional, with a cap on tasks running at once from 2 to 20.
Upscaling, erasing and face swap are separate tools
The upscaler (2x to 8x), Background Remover, AI Eraser, AI Filters and face swap sit beside the editor as their own tools rather than inside one editing thread.
Why people look for a SeaArt alternative
- You want images seen only by you from the first generation, while SeaArt keeps work visible unless a plan's Private Generation privilege is enabled.
- You want to see a monthly dollar price before signing up, and SeaArt's paid tiers appear only as "/Month, Billed Annually" with figures that did not render in the page text.
- You create in bursts, and a daily Stamina allowance (130 a day on Free, 300 on Beginner) does not match how you work.
- You want a focused workspace for one project rather than a platform built around a community, AI Apps and remixing.
The 6 SeaArt alternatives
Ordered by how many of the reasons above each one answers, starting with work kept out of public view by default, then a monthly price you can read before paying, then usage that is not counted per day.
1. Mage
Best for: People who want every creation private by default, even on the no-cost plan
How it differs from SeaArt: Mage keeps new generations visible to your account only on every plan, including Free, where SeaArt makes privacy a plan privilege. Its memberships are listed in dollars and billed monthly, starting with Basic at $10 a month. Its Mango 3 model edits an input image from instructions and takes up to 10 reference images.
Price: Free plan with a 300 Gems sign-up bonus; Basic $10 a month (as of 2026-10)
Limitation: Its API is a premium API in limited beta, and Mage forbids automation outside the API.
2. Leonardo.Ai
Best for: Creators who want named models, phone apps and an API with plain monthly prices
How it differs from SeaArt: Leonardo.Ai lists its paid plans in dollars, with Essential at $12 a month on monthly billing, and creations on paid plans are private. Like SeaArt it has iOS and Android apps, and it adds a pay as you go API that is sold separately from the web subscriptions.
Price: Free plan with 150 fast tokens a day; Essential at $12 monthly (as of 2026-10)
Limitation: Creations on the free plan are public, and Leonardo.Ai holds rights to use the images free accounts make.
3. OpenArt
Best for: Video-minded creators who want chat-driven edits and a sorted asset library
How it differs from SeaArt: OpenArt prints its prices on the pricing page, with Starter at $14 a month on monthly billing, and its FAQ says "Your creations stay private". Chat Mode and saved characters cover much of what SeaArt users do with reference images, and assets are kept in folders and labels.
Price: Starter $14 a month billed monthly, after a trial plan (as of 2026-10)
Limitation: The Starter card does not list commercial use rights, which the pricing page shows from Plus at $34 a month, and no mobile app link was found on the homepage.
4. ImageQuarry
Best for: People who keep reworking one image and want each described change saved as a version
How it differs from SeaArt: SeaArt spreads its work across many tools and a community feed. ImageQuarry is one workspace for a project: describe the image, ask for a change, and each change becomes a new version while the earlier ones stay. Work lives in projects and a persistent library, and you can branch from any earlier version.
Price: Starter plan $9 monthly; the Pro plan is $29 monthly (as of 2026-10)
Limitation: Every plan is paid, it makes still images and not video, and ImageQuarry publishes no Terms or rights policy yet.
5. Civitai
Best for: Model and LoRA collectors who want community checkpoints inside the generator
How it differs from SeaArt: Civitai's on-site generator combines SD 1.5, SDXL and Flux with community models, LoRA and embeddings, and hosted Nano Banana takes edits written as a plain instruction. Memberships are priced monthly in dollars: Bronze $10, Silver $25 and Gold $50.
Price: Free Buzz every 24 hours; Bronze $10 a month (as of 2026-10)
Limitation: Images you do not post to your profile are kept for 30 days from creation, and no annual billing is shown.
6. Tensor.Art
Best for: People who want to run community checkpoints and LoRAs, or train their own
How it differs from SeaArt: Tensor.Art is the closest match to SeaArt's model community: it hosts checkpoints and LoRAs you can run on site, with Models, Workflows and Train in its navigation. A September 2026 Wayback capture of its homepage also shows a Design Agent Chat to generate and edit designs.
Price: 30-day Pro Plan USD 9.90 (App Store) (as of 2026-10)
Limitation: Its prices conflict: the App Store lists a yearly plan at USD 69.90, while a 2024 vendor notice gave $59.9, and the app is listed for iPhone and iPad only.
Who should stay with SeaArt
- You want image and video in one account with a long list of named models, from GPT Image 2.5 to Seedance 2.5 and Kling AI.
- You mostly create on your phone, since SeaArt links apps on both the App Store and Google Play.
- You are happy with 130 Stamina a day on the Free plan and do not mind work being visible to others.
- You remix community works and AI Apps, which is what SeaArt's community side is built for.
How to try an alternative alongside SeaArt
- Download the SeaArt images you still want to work on; its edit app offers downloads without watermarks.
- Note which model made each favorite, such as Seedream 5.0 Pro or Nano Banana 2.1, since some alternatives list the same model names and you can compare like with like.
- Keep a list of the plain-word edit instructions that worked for you, because editing by description carries over to tools that edit from text.
- Run two or three of your usual jobs in the alternative over a week, including one edit that leans on a reference image.
- Read the alternative's own visibility and usage wording before you rely on it, rather than assuming it matches SeaArt's.
Does not carry over: Stamina, SeaArt AI Apps, community likes and remixes stay on SeaArt.
SeaArt alternatives: questions
Is there a free SeaArt alternative?
Several have a no-cost start, as of October 2026: Leonardo.Ai gives 150 fast tokens a day, Mage a 300 Gems sign-up bonus, OpenArt a trial plan with daily credits, and Civitai free Buzz every 24 hours. SeaArt's own Free plan gives 130 Stamina a day. Every ImageQuarry plan is paid.
Which SeaArt alternative keeps images private by default?
Mage. Its docs say all creations are private by default and visible to your account only, on every plan including Free. On SeaArt, work is visible to others unless Private Generation, a plan privilege, is enabled. Leonardo.Ai makes creations private on its paid plans.
How much does SeaArt cost?
SeaArt's pricing page lists Free, Beginner, Standard, Professional and Master, with paid tiers shown per month billed annually, but the dollar amounts load in the browser and were not in the page text read on October 20, 2026. It quotes a standard image at 6 credits, about $0.006.
Is there a SeaArt alternative for LoRAs and community models?
Civitai and Tensor.Art both host community models and LoRAs you can run on site, and Tensor.Art has a Train section. Mage lets Basic members use LoRAs and Pro Plus members import custom models.
How does ImageQuarry compare with SeaArt for editing?
Both edit from a plain description of the change. SeaArt surrounds that with tools such as an upscaler, AI Eraser and face swap. In ImageQuarry, you select a version, ask for the change, and get a new version while the earlier ones stay, so you can return to any step or branch from it.
