# What happens when I run out of ImageQuarry credits?

Turn on optional metered overage to keep creating: $0.12 per extra credit on Starter, $0.09 on Pro. It is off unless you turn it on.

Each plan includes monthly image credits: 100 on Starter and 300 on Pro. Generating and editing use credits; what one credit buys depends on the model and the operation.

Overage is a choice, not a default. Turn it on when a busy month needs more than your plan includes, and the extra usage is metered per credit at your plan's rate.

If you use more than your credits most months, Pro includes more monthly usage than Starter. Compare a typical month of overage with the difference in plan price.
