# What image size works for LinkedIn posts?

1.91:1 landscape at 1200 x 628 pixels or 4:5 vertical at 720 x 900 are LinkedIn's recommended ratios for single image ads, and it also lists 1:1 square at 1200 x 1200. They are a sensible starting point for regular posts. Files can be JPG, PNG or GIF up to 5 MB.

LinkedIn's help page for single image ads lists 1.91:1 and 4:5 as recommended ratios. The minimums it lists are 640 x 360 for landscape, 360 x 360 for square and 360 x 640 for vertical images.

Square and vertical images take more space in the mobile feed than landscape ones. Landscape suits images shared with a link and anything that needs to look like a slide.

Keep text in the image short and large: the feed shows images small on phones.

## Make a version for the feed

Ask for the change you want, then check the new version against LinkedIn's sizes.
