# Is AI image editing a replacement for Photoshop?

Not entirely. AI editing suits changes you can describe, such as a new background, light or object, without manual editing tools. Photoshop is still more precise for exact pixel work, layers, color management and print preparation, and it now includes AI tools of its own.

Adobe's Photoshop includes Generative Fill, which adds, removes or modifies content in a selected area from a text prompt.

A practical workflow uses both: generate and edit by instruction to reach the right image, then finish the type, exact colors and print files in a traditional editor.

ImageQuarry covers the first part: creating an image and editing it with words across versions, then downloading the one you choose for finishing elsewhere.

## Reach the right image, then finish it

Edit with words until it is right, then finish it in the tool you already use.
