# How do I get consistent images across a campaign?

Fix what should repeat and reuse it in every request: the same reference images and the same described palette, light and framing. Make new images from one approved image rather than from scratch, then review the whole set side by side, because models still drift between generations.

Consistency across separate generations is hard for current models. OpenAI's documentation says its image model may struggle to keep recurring characters or brand elements consistent across multiple generations.

References carry the look better than words alone. Google's documentation describes using several reference images of a character to keep that character consistent. The same idea works for a product, a material or a color world.

Make variations and new formats from one approved master image instead of generating each piece independently, and keep a short written style note (palette, light direction, lens feel, background) that you reuse in every request.

ImageQuarry is set up for this: add references to guide texture, color and light, make variations and branches from the approved version, keep the campaign in one project, and compare versions before you download.
