# Can AI make product photos?

Yes. AI can generate product scenes from a description, and it can place a photo of your real product in a new setting, light or background. For listings, start from a photo of the actual product so the shape, label and color stay closer to what the customer receives.

A product generated from words alone is an invented product. That is useful for concepts and mockups, not for showing what you sell.

When you edit a real product photo, say what must not change: the shape, the label, the color. OpenAI notes its model can struggle to keep brand elements consistent, so compare every result with the original.

In ImageQuarry you can upload the product photo and describe the change, for example "Put the bottle on folded fabric. Warmer light." The result is a new version next to the original, and you review it before you download.
