# Can AI keep a product exactly the same while changing the scene?

Not exactly every time. AI can place a product in a new scene and keep its shape and colors close, but labels, small text, logos and fine details are redrawn and can drift. For listings and ads, check every product image against the real product before you publish it.

Image models rebuild the product as part of the new picture rather than pasting the original pixels. OpenAI's guide lists limits with precise text placement and with "structured or layout-sensitive compositions", which is where packaging and labels sit.

You get closer results by starting from a clear photo of the product, naming what must not change ("keep the bottle shape, cap and label"), and changing one thing at a time: first the surface, then the light.
