EDIT IMAGES
Show a product in new colorways from a single photo
New colorways usually mean new samples and a new shoot. Before that, most brands just want to see the options. In ImageQuarry you upload one good product photo, select it and describe each new color: the bottle in frosted sage, the mug in matte black, the sneaker upper in sand with a white sole. Each request creates a new version while the earlier ones stay, so a colorway lineup comes out of a single image.
Name the part that changes, the new color and finish, and what stays, such as the label and logo.

How to change a product's color with ImageQuarry
- 01
Start from your best product photo
Upload a sharp, evenly lit photo of the product. The cleaner the original, the easier it is to judge a new color, because reflections and shadows carry over into each version.
- 02
Point to the part and name the finish
Products often have several materials: a cap, a body, a strap, a sole. Say which part changes and the finish, such as gloss, matte, frosted or brushed, and ask to keep labels, logos and text. Review each new version for changes to those.
- 03
Lay out the lineup
Make one version per colorway, then compare them together, choose the ones for the decision deck and download them.
Product color requests
Example requests; each produces a version to check.
Packaging colorway
Bottles and jars often come in a color per scent or variant.
Matte versus gloss
Finish changes the perceived price of a product.
Footwear upper
Sneakers have many parts; name the one that changes.
Electronics accent
Accent colors on a device need to stay small.
Seasonal limited edition
Limited editions often use a single seasonal color.
Match a brand color
Use a reference when the color is a brand asset.
What makes a product recolor useful
Material behaves differently
Plastic, glass, metal, fabric and ceramic reflect light in different ways. Naming the material and finish keeps the new color looking like the real product.
Text and logos must survive
Labels are where recolors most often go wrong. Ask to keep them, and read every word on the label in the new version before using it.
Decision images, not final listings
Colorway previews are good for deciding what to make. Once a color is produced, a photo of the real product is the honest image for a listing.
Consistent lighting across the set
When every colorway comes from the same original, the lighting matches, which makes the comparison fair.
Words first
Select a version, describe the color change in words, and get a new version while earlier ones are preserved.

What is an AI product color change?
It is an edit where you ask in words for a product in a photo to appear in another color or finish, while keeping its shape and labels. In ImageQuarry every colorway becomes its own version of the original photo.
It is not a product photo of a manufactured item. If the colorway does not exist yet, label the image as a concept before you show it to buyers.
Product color questions
Can I show my product in a color I have not made yet?
Yes, as a concept. Upload the photo, describe the new color, and ImageQuarry creates a new version.
How do I keep the label readable?
Ask to keep the label and logo in the request. A request can say what to keep as well as what to change; read the label in every new version.
Can I make a full colorway lineup?
Make one version per color, compare them and download the set.
Should I use these images in a store listing?
Use real product photos once the colorway exists, so buyers see what they will receive. Previews are best for decisions and concepts.
Can I show the exact brand color?
Add a swatch as a reference image. References guide the result, so compare each version against the swatch.
Which plan suits product work?
Both plans are paid monthly; Pro includes more monthly usage than Starter at $9 per month with 100 image credits a month.
Create an image. Edit it with words. Keep refining.
