ImageQuarry and Civitai: the differences that matter
Open models and LoRAs
Civitai's generator runs SD 1.5, SDXL and Flux combined with community models, LoRAs and embeddings, and the site hosts thousands of shared models. For fine control over style through community models, Civitai has no counterpart in a four-model workspace.
Generator tools
Civitai lists image to image, Face Fix, Hi-res Fix, upscaling by 1.5x to 3x, remixing another user's image and image to video. It also offers an API, documented at developer.civitai.com.
How long your images stay
Civitai says images not posted to a profile "will be retained for 30 days from their creation date". ImageQuarry keeps work in projects and a persistent library, so you can come back to earlier images and their history.
A multi-turn edit loop
Civitai suggests editing "in multiple turns for complex changes" with its hosted Nano Banana models. In ImageQuarry, every turn becomes a version you can compare, branch from or download.
Free use and content split
Civitai gives some free Buzz every 24 hours for logging in and opening the generator, and its pricing page says unrestricted content creation has moved to civitai.red. ImageQuarry plans are paid only.
