# Superhero portraits of a hero you invent

A superhero portrait is a chance to invent: a suit in your own colors, an emblem that means something to you, a power shown in the light around your hands, a rooftop above a city at night. Kids love them as gifts, adults use them for birthdays, game nights and comics. In ImageQuarry you start from a photo or a description, design the hero in words, and keep every version to compare.

Invent your own suit and emblem rather than borrowing a famous hero.

## How to make a superhero portrait with ImageQuarry

1. **Start from a photo** Upload a clear photo of the person who becomes the hero, or describe the hero.
2. **Design the suit** Name the colors, materials and emblem: a deep teal suit with a silver wave emblem and a short cape.
3. **Show the power** Ask for the power in the image: frost on the ground, sparks around the hands, wind lifting the cape.
4. **Set the scene and compare** Ask for a rooftop, a storm or a city street, compare versions and download one.

## Superhero requests

- **Rooftop at night**: A city skyline is the classic hero backdrop.
- **Power in the light**: Glowing powers make a dramatic light source.
- **Kid hero**: Children love seeing themselves as heroes.
- **Comic cover look**: Comic styling suits gifts and party invitations.
- **Landing pose**: The landing pose is a signature hero moment.
- **Hero lineup**: Families and friends can be a hero group.

## What makes a hero portrait work

- **Invent, do not borrow**: Famous heroes and their emblems are other creators' characters. Design your own suit, colors and symbol.
- **Readable emblem**: A simple chest emblem reads at a glance; complex ones get lost.
- **Powers as light**: Glowing powers double as a dramatic light source on the face.
- **Pose sells heroism**: Low camera angles, wind in the cape and wide stances feel heroic.
- **From your photo**: Turn a photo you upload into the hero by describing the transformation.
- **Try other suits**: Branch from the base hero to try a new suit while the first design stays.

| Emblem | Recognition | Simple chest symbol |

| Pose | Heroism | Low angle, wide stance |
| Setting | Stakes | Rooftop, storm, street |
| Style | Mood | Comic ink or painted |

## What is an AI superhero portrait?

An AI superhero portrait is a portrait of a person as an original superhero, created from their photo or a description with an AI image tool, with a custom suit, emblem, power and setting.

_It is not artwork of an existing comic or film hero; design an original character._

## Superhero questions

### Can I make my child into a hero?

Yes. Upload a clear photo and describe the suit and power; check the face against the photo.

### Can I use a famous hero's costume?

Design your own instead, so the hero is original to you.

### Can I change the suit color and keep the pose?

Name the pose and face as fixed and ask for the new colors; then compare both versions.

### Can I make a comic-style version?

Ask for bold ink lines and halftone dots on the version you like.

### Can I make a whole family of heroes?

Branch each hero from the same base scene so the style matches, then compare them.

### Where do I keep the hero designs?

In a project, with the finished heroes gathered into a named collection.
